Momma Dee would prefer it if rapper Diamond would stop talking about her, and the “Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta” star may take legal action to make that happen.
Diamond, whose real name is Brittany Nicole Carpentero, has been on a media tour promoting her new Oxygen reality series “Sisterhood of Hip Hop.” Not surprisingly, she’s had to answer more than one question about her past relationship with Lil Scrappy that ended when she began to date Soulja Boy.
Of course, Lil Scrappy and Momma Dee come hand in hand, so Diamond had a few things to share about the self-proclaimed queen of Scrappy’s kingdom.
“His mom always tried to still my clothes, my bags and my jewelry,” she said in episode 1 of the show.
Momma Dee denied the accusations, telling VLADTV, “I have never stolen anything ever in my life and would not stand for anything that she says that is so hurtful and untruthful.”
However, she also took things a step further by sending the rapper a cease and desist letter.
“It is unfortunate that Ms. Carpentero aka Diamond continues to slander my client and her son in the press. The relationship between my client’s son and Ms. Carpentero ended years ago yet she continues to talk about Momma Dee in a negative light, most recently making false claims that my client stone property,” the letter reportedly read. “We are not taking such accusations lightly and will use the appropriate channels to handle the defamation of character.”
According to Momma Dee, Diamond, who has accused Scrappy of physical abuse, continues to discuss her past relationship with Scrappy just to raise her profile.
“That’s bad that she thinks she can lie on people just to come up in life,” Momma Dee wrote on Twitter.
