An eyewitness was tweeting during the fatal shooting of Michael Brown by police officer Darren Wilson.
A Twitter user, going by the handle of TheePharoah, posted a play-by-play account of what he saw happening on the street where Michael’s bloody body lay for hours after being riddled with six bullets from the officer’s gun.
“It’s blood all over the street,” he wrote on August 9. “There is police tape all over my building.”
The stunned tweeter shared what he saw for more than hour. He began chronicling the events around 1:03 p.m. At 3:36, he wrote, “Homie still on the ground tho.”
Bruh, or @TheePharoah, reported hearing about seven shots fired, but a recent autopsy, done at the request of Brown’s family’s attorneys, shows the victim was hit six times. The fatal bullet entered at the top of the 18-year-old’s head.
“We believe given those kinds of facts, this officer should have been arrested,” said attorney Daryl Parks.
Watch the medical examiners explain their findings below.
