Charlamagne Tha God, 50 Cent question Floyd Mayweather’s literacy

Floyd_MayweatherBefore failing to execute an ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, 50 Cent threw some shade at boxer Floyd Mayweather and the champ’s reading skills.

“If you can read one full page of a Harry Potter book n*gg@r, I’ll give $750,000 to whatever charitable organization you want,” said 50 before tossing his ice water onto the plush green lawn below.

Rapper 50 Cent didn’t just require Floyd to read the page. If he accepts the challenge, he has to read the book with ease.

“I will donate $750k to a charity of your choice, If you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or f*ck!ng up. Lmao,” wrote 50.

However, after hearing from Jimmy Kimmel, 50 Cent changed the rules. The late-night host offered to allow Floyd to read on his show, but in case Harry Potter includes too many difficult-to-pronounce names and fictitious magical words, 50 said Floyd could read The Cat in the Hat instead.

After announcing the challenge, “The Breakfast Club” radio host Charlamagne Tha God released audio of Floyd attempting to read a promo for the station.

In the audio, Floyd struggles to read the text, which took Charlamagne 10 seconds to read. Feeling sorry for Floyd, co-hosts DJ Envy and Angela Yee stopped the audio of Floyd before the boxer could be heard completing the task.

“This is disrespectful,” Envy said. Angela co-singed, “This is so mean.”
