Beyoncé was deemed the greatest living entertainer at the VMAs, but it was daughter Blue Ivy who really stole the show as the “Flawless” artist received the Vanguard Award Sunday night.
Beyoncé closed out the show by performing nearly the entire Beyoncé album for the VMA audience. As she executed her choreographed moves onstage, Blue Ivy proved she’s no stranger to the dances as she mimicked the synchronized moves from her dad’s lap.
After her performance, Beyoncé held back tears as Jay-Z and Blue presented her with her award. Despite rumors that there’s trouble in their marriage, the trio presented a happy front at the awards show, sharing a family hug and kisses onstage.
“I’m so full,” Beyoncé said. “I have nothing to say, but I feel so much gratitude. I thank God for this moment.”
