Beyoncé and Jay-Z are using their star power to make a final push for President Barack Obama’s re-election.
Raising more than $4 million for president Obama’s campaign is one thing, but a letter of recommendation from half of hip-hop’s most powerful couple may be priceless!
Beyoncé, who has already penned a letter in admiration of first lady Michelle Obama, posted a few kind words for the president in an open letter.
"Everday we see your heart and character, inspiring all of us to give more of ourselves," Bey wrote. "You are the leader to take us from where we are to where we need to be."
With all of her respect and adoration, Bey concluded, "You are the reason my daughter and my nephew will grow up knowing that they can truly be ANYTHING they want to be."
And her husband Jay-Z did his part for the cause as well when he provided a soundtrack for the president’s final rally last night. Normally you might have to shell out some major cash to see Jay-Z and Bruce Springsteen, but undecided voters in Ohio got quite a show last night as the president continued his push for re-election.
Hov got the crowd fired up and ready to go as her performed "On To The Next One," "Run This Town" and "Encore." He also found some time to do an election remix of "99 Problems." You can just about guess where he substituted GOP challenger Mitt Romney’s name.
