Usher’s wife, Tameka Foster, is coherent after suffering complications from a plastic surgery procedure in Brazil.
Contrary to what others have reported, the complications were serious but not fatal. In fact, we’re told that Tameka is now doing well enough to speak.
Tameka’s situation had gotten so serious that neurosurgeon Dr. Gabriel Hunt had to be flown to South America to help.
Usher had canceled his performance at Clive Davis’ pre-Grammy gala on Saturday because of a family emergency. He rushed to be by Tameka’s side in South America as soon as he found out something was wrong.
Usher and Tameka just had their second son, Naviyd Ely Raymond, back in December. Their first son, Usher Raymond V, was born in November of 2007.
