Rihanna wants babies…someday

Rihanna revealed to Ellen DeGeneres that she wants to be a mom, and she’d prefer for her babydaddy to be in the picture.

Nearly a year after her last chat with Ellen, the "Diamonds" singer stopped by the show again to give an update on how she and her lady parts are doing.

Last year, Rihanna said that she was still learning to find the balance between her career and her personal life. She figured that working herself to exhaustion wasn’t good for her or a very particular part of her anatomy.

When Ellen asked if things had improved for Rihanna and her vagina, RiRi happily reported, "She’s having a little more fun now. Hooray for her!"

While Rihanna confirmed that she’s not dating anyone (and more specifically not dating Chris Brown), she has thought about having a family someday.

"Yes, eventually," she said when asked if she wants kids. "Absolutely."

Rihanna is still relatively young, so she’s got a while to find Mr. Right. But, when Ellen questioned whether RiRi would be open to the idea of being a single mom, the singer said it’s not really her preference.

“I would prefer to have a full family," Rihanna said “I’m pretty sure I could handle it if I had to on my own, but that’s not what I’m striving for.”

In the meantime, Rihanna is focusing on her career and she’s got a lot of work to do as she prepares the release of her latest album, Unapologetic. But it all had to start somewhere for Rihanna, who noted that she was inspired to sing by one of the world’s top divas.

“I remember looking up to people like Mariah Carey the most. I identified with her in so many ways. She was biracial; she was also young, and I remember just hearing her story and really being connected to it.”
