Tia Mowry-Hardrict and Tamera Mowry-Housley are taking steps to avoid the dreaded reality TV couple curse. The twins have opened up their homes to “Tia & Tamera” viewers, but they’re careful about how much of their marriages they share.
“I can see why marriages deteriorate after being on a reality show for a while,” Tia said. “At the end of the day, the reality show is a show, and they’re looking for conflict. For any relationship, always focusing on a conflict is not healthy.”
Tia agrees with Tamera that their husbands won’t be focal points of their series.
“You don’t want to put everything out on television," said Tamera. "That’s what makes a marriage. It’s between you two and not you and 2 billion people who can watch it over and over on YouTube.”
