Most women try to avoid looking too desperate when it comes to catching a man, but Kenya Moore sees no shame in consistently reminding her man that she’s ready for a ring.
“I think a closed mouth doesn’t get fed,” the former Miss USA said on Bravo’s “Watch What Happens Live!”
Kenya has received criticism for “pressuring” her boyfriend Walter to propose. The 40-something beauty hears her biological clock ticking, and she’s made sure he hears it, too.
“I want a baby like yesterday. I don’t want to wait. I’m ready,” she told him in a recent episode. “I’m going to do whatever it takes to get that ring.”
Kenya’s want of a husband and family is one reason some "RHOA" viewers believe she doesn’t get along with co-star Porsha Stewart, who is younger and married to a former NFL baller. Porsha’s timetable has her birthing babies by the time she’s 35.
"Kenya is the type of woman who will always swear someone is jealous of her or envious of her. But deep down inside she has some serious issues and envy those who have what she has yet to achieve. She’s in her 40′s, childless and ringless. I guess that would bring out the beast in me too," wrote S2Smagazine.com user penabutta.
While some women might fear scaring their men away with constant chatter about wedding rings and baby carriages, Kenya isn’t too worried.
“A woman has to let her desires be known, and if a guy really is into you, then he’ll give you everything that you want, and if he doesn’t, to the left,” she said.
