HBO released a trailer to promote the upcoming Beyoncé documentary, airing on February 16.
“I always battle with how much do I reveal about myself,” Beyoncé said in the promo, which describes the special and “raw.”
For those who were hoping to see Beyoncé spending some precious mother-daughter time with Blue Ivy, the only glimpse of the toddler was of her as a baby bump.
If nothing else, the documentary may put to rest the rumors that Beyoncé didn’t actually carry her baby, but used a surrogate instead.
It’s not clear exactly what time span the documentary, which is Bey’s directorial debut, covers. So, hope is not lost that more of Blue will be revealed.
While many of Beyoncé’s fans are eagerly anticipating the special, others aren’t too sure there’s anything else to learn about the star.
“Why are you punishing me with this overexposed chick????” wrote one commenter.
Another wrote: “Gee, I thought we knew everything we needed to know about Beyoncé. But I will definitely tune in. Sure it will be great!”
