Jay-Z is giving you a look at how he helped to welcome the Barclays Center to Brooklyn.
Cameras were following Jay-Z as he opened the Barclays Center with a string of inaugural shows, and now he’s thrown all the footage together into a documentary.
There was a lot of work that went into the concerts, and in Where I’m From: JAY Z Barclays Center Documentary viewers will see all the work behind the shows. Those who couldn’t experience it in person, will get to see an extended clip of the opening set and a quick glimpse of all eight performances.
And, of course, you should expect a few cameos by Beyoncé.
Jay-Z made news on the final night when he opted to arrive at the show via subway instead of a luxury car. While riding with the public, he made a friend on the train. He was also shaking hands with fans and snapping pictures all the way to the arena.
Unlike his wife Bey’s documentary (see the trailer here), Hov didn’t bring his retrospective to HBO. Instead, the "99 Problems" rapper has released the short-form documentary on YouTube! Take a look.
