We know that Kimberly Jones, a.k.a. rapper Lil’ Kim, can rhyme, but can she dance?! That’s been the question ever since ABC announced the newest team of celebs for the eighth season of "Dancing With the Stars," a list that included Brooklyn rhymestress Kim.
Kim, who has recently been in the news for making negative comments about actress Naturi Naughton’s portrayal of her life in the film Notorious, will compete against comedian David Alan Grier, NFL Hall-of-Famer Lawrence Taylor, singer Jewel, bull rider Ty Murray (Jewel’s husband), singer Belinda Carlisle (former frontwoman for The Go-Gos), actress Denise Richards, daredevil Steve-O, country singer Chuck Wicks and Apple co-founder Steve Wozniak.
Last season’s competition featured Olympian Maurice Greene and singer Toni Braxton, both of whom are currently on the road with the DWTS Tour.
The new season of “Dancing With the Stars” begins March 9 on ABC.
