NeNe Leakes is not sorry to see Kim Zolciak leave "The Real Housewives of Atlanta."
Kim and NeNe came into the show as the best of friends, but they turned into bitter enemies by the end of the first season. And they have continued to fight throughout the seasons.
Whether it was NeNe’s marriage or the way Kim treats the rest of the cast—you name it—NeNe and Kim couldn’t see eye-to-eye on a lot of things.
While NeNe usually has a lot to say about everything else, she seemingly didn’t give too much thought to Kim’s final kiss-off. NeNe confined her commentary on the matter to one line in her blog, stating, "Kim storms out of the brunch: free at last, free at last, thank God almighty, we are free at last!"
Kim, however, had much more to say in her own blog. The first thing she took issue with was that the cast expected her to travel overseas so close to the end of her pregnancy. In fact, she couldn’t believe that the women really expected her to go since she was so far along and had delivered her older son early.
"For the women to think that I was willing to take that risk FOR THEM is absurd, especially since I don’t consider them my friends," Kim wrote before correcting herself. "The only person I considered my true friend was Kandi throughout the years."
Not only that, but Kim argued that her former cast mates aren’t very good friends to each other. She predicted that the trip to Anguilla wouldn’t be as peaceful as the other girls projected. "These women can’t get along in Atlanta, and you expect me to believe they are going to another country and it’s going to be Hakuna-Matata?" Kim questioned. "You know there are going to be fights on that trip. I made no mistakes by staying home."
In parting, Kim again denied NeNe’s accusations that she was actually fired from "RHOA," stating, "I called it quits for this season, and I don’t regret it at all. So no, I clearly wasn’t fired, you can hear me say ‘I’m done.’"
