Music fans will be thanking Drake even later than expected as the rapper-actor has pushed his album drop date back again.
It seems like most album releases in 2009 have been put on hold, and that may not change in 2010. Drake told MTV News that he’s pushed his album, Thank Me Later, back for a second time.
"I’m making progress on it," he said. "I’m hoping for March now. It’s just pulling everybody together: I had a wish list for my managers of everybody I wanted involved that stem beyond hip-hop. I’m trying to pull it all together."
Unfortunately, Drizzy didn’t offer up a specific drop date. Originally, Thank Me Later was supposed to come out in January. That was later bumped back to February 14, which would have had him and Sade releasing an album on the same day. By the way, the rapper was hoping to get her to make a guest appearance on his project.
This is just a minor setback for Drake, though, because he’s just been nominate for two Grammys.
