T-Boz looks to reinvent herself and resurrect her music career in her new TLC series, “Totally T-Boz.”
The Learning Channel, the same network responsible for “Long Island Medium” and “Sister Wives,” released a 3-minute sneak peek of the series, premiering January 1 at 8 p.m. EST.
In the clip, music producer Bangladesh challenges T-Boz’s dedication to creating new music.
“I’m really ready,” said T-Boz whose decision to get back into the studio isn’t just about money, ego or fame.
The singer, who suffers from Sickle Cell Anemia and had a brain tumor removed three years ago, explained that this comeback is about something deeper.
“He spared me. So, I really do feel like I’m supposed to share my story or help somebody in some type of way. If you do have a God-given gift and it’s given back to you, I’d be stupid to be like, ‘Oh, F that,’” she said.
