LaLa Anthony comments on Cheerios controversy

LaLa Anthony is speaking out on Kevin Garnett’s accusation that she tastes like Honey-Nut Cheerios.

Kevin’s comment at the Knicks-Celtics game may have ticked off Carmelo Anthony, but all his wife LaLa can do is laugh about it. And she wouldn’t mind an endorsement deal out of the controversy, either.

After keeping silent on the matter all week, LaLa finally tweeted, "Not for nothing, but we ALL deserve a check or some free cereal 4all the publicity we’ve given Honey Nut Cheerios! LOL #cantbelieveeverything."

Wendy Williams said on her show earlier this week that Carmelo might be a little frustrated because of rumors that his marriage is on the rocks. She dished that the couple has supposedly been living apart for a couple months, but people close to the couple haven’t confirmed the reports.

The jury is still out on the status of LaLa and Carmelo’s living arrangements, but it sounds like they haven’t had much quality time as of late.

“It is true they haven’t seen much of each other in the past few months,” a source close the Anthonys told the New York Post. “She’s been away a lot filming her show, ‘La La’s Full Court Life,’ in London, New York and L.A."

All that being said, LaLa and Carmelo’s marriage is still intact. "They are not separated and are still together. She and Melo have a house in L.A.," the insider added. "She’s always there when she’s doing auditions.”

There’s word, though, that LaLa has been enjoying herself a lot lately by going out on her own. Supposedly, she’s been partying with her girls quite a bit, and Carmelo is not feeling it at all.
