5. Beyoncé’s performances can shut down an entire stadium. Literally.
Minutes after her performance, about half of the lights at the 73,000-seat Superdome suddenly went out. Twitter and other social media outlets went crazy over speculation as to whether the singer had in fact used all of the electricity in the Superdome during her half-time performance. Beyoncé’s husband Shawn “Jay-Z” Carter also took to Twitter to comment on the situation, “Lights out!!! Any questions??”
