The latest in the shocking "Chrianna" Grammy scandal comes all the way from Barbados.
Clara Brathwaite, Rihanna’s grandmother, told the Daily Nation "I don’t want people to worry. Rihanna is fine and she is doing well." This news comes after many different sources have contributed to the public’s concern for the 20-year-old "Umbrella" singer. Clara was responding to reports that Rihanna might be sustaining serious injuries, possibly as a result of a pre-Grammy altercation with Chris Brown, her boyfriend of over a year.
Prior to Clara’s statement, gossip site TMZ reported that Rihanna’s injuries were "horrific" and that her nose might be broken. Clara also shoots down rumors that her granddaughter suffered a broken nose.
No further word from the singer, or anyone in Chris’ camp, however E! Online is reporting that on the night of the incident (Sunday, February 9) an "insider" heard Chris tell Rihanna "I’m going to kill you!" during an argument.
