Chris Brown and Rihanna are well connected in the entertainment world, so when details of their fight (and Rihanna’s resulting wounds) broke, Hollywood world was buzzing about it.
LisaRaye McCoy said she sees how the alleged fight could have escalated to such a violent point because love can make people act crazy. “When there’s love between two people, and there’s care between two people, there is such a thing called temporary insanity. Although that doesn’t make it right, it’s real,” Lisa told S2S.
The actress told us she’s sure Chris is sorry about what happened and that he probably didn’t mean to let things get out of hand.
Despite her sympathy for the situation, LisaRaye isn’t letting Chris off the hook so easily. "He didn’t even think about the repercussions of it at all! That’s the temporary insanity part,” she said. “In my head, it’s like I could understand, but it ain’t right. You gotta [sic] really have control over yourself.”
The “All Of Us” star, who went through a similar situation with her estranged husband, said she sympathizes with Rihanna. You know she didn’t have anything nice to say about the fact bite marks were found on the singer’s body.
“Biting is a b***h move to me,” LisaRaye told S2S. “That means you’re struggling. You’re in between: you don’t want to hit me and you feel like you want to inflict some type of pain, but you want to get away because you feel like you’re losing.”

Kanye West told Ryan Seacrest that he heard about the fight Sunday night just before he went stage to perform “American Boy” with Estelle. Anyone watching the broadcast wouldn’t have known he was shaken by news that Rihanna got beat up.
“I feel like that’s my baby sis and I will do any and everything to help her at any situation. So anything I heard, I don’t want to speak too much on it but I was completely devasted by the concept of what I had heard,” Kanye said on-air during Ryan’s radio show. “I was at the beginning of the ‘American Boy’ performance when I really heard—it kind of got cleared up of what might have happened…I was completely devastated during the performance.”
Chris may want to lay low for a bit because Jay-Z is reportedly furious over Rihanna’s injuries. There is no word on what Hov actually said, but a source told Us Weekly magazine that he was threatening revenge on Breezy. “He hit the roof. Chris is a walking dead man. He messed with the wrong crew,” said Us Weekly’s source, The New York Post reports.
However celebrities, like Terrance Howard, have also come out in support of Chris. Terrance told Hollywood.TV he thinks Chris is “a great guy” and that people need to stay out of his and Rihanna’s business.
Rapper T.I. spoke out on Monday’s episode of “Last Call With Carson Daly.” “Yeah, I spoke to him today,” T.I. told the former MTV VJ. “He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris.”
Carson asked if T.I. knew any of the details about Sunday morning’s fight, but the rapper quickly cut him off with a ‘no.’
T.I. later took back his statement on Chris once he realized he didn’t have the whole story.
Pastor Keith Battle of Zion Church in Landover, Maryland is giving the whole situation up to God. The reverend offered this prayer on Chris and Rihanna’s behalf:
“Lord, thank you for the opportunity to come right now and lift up Chris Brown and Rihanna to you. I just pray, father, that you would intervene in this situation and show yourself strong.
"So many of us have made mistakes in our lives and we have come to you and you’ve shown us mercy. I do pray that you be merciful towards them and that they learn valuable lessons through this incident.
“I pray, not only for physical healing in this situation, but [also] for emotional healing from the scarring and the wounding. I pray that this moment would not be negatively etched in their minds, but that it will serve as a defining moment for them to learn and grow from.
“I pray that the broader community would give them the benefit of the doubt and be merciful on them and compassionate towards them.
“I pray that you turn this bad, sad situation into something great for your glory. We commit them both to you now—[along with] their families, their friends, their colleagues, and their associates. Just show yourself strong and prevail on their behalf, I pray in, Jesus’ name.
“Amen.”
