The Cole family will continue their collective weight loss journey on TLC’s “One Big Happy Family.”

    According to
The Hollywood Reporter, the network has ordered 12 new episodes of the reality show that follows an obese family of four as they work toward a healthier lifestyle.

The show, produced by RDF USA, premiered back in December and it only had six episodes. The company thinks “One Big Happy Family” caught because the Coles are so relatable.

"Obesity is an epidemic in America, so it’s no surprise that viewers fell in love with the Coles family as they began their weight loss journey," said RDF USA Senior VP Mike Duffy. "With four different perspectives, every viewer has someone they can relate to but, ultimately I think people root for them because they’re refreshingly sweet, funny and honest."

Season two of “One Big Happy Family” is slated to premiere in June.
