Oprah Winfrey has snagged the first TV interview with John Edwards’ jump-off, Rielle Hunter.
A rep for “The Oprah Winfrey Show” told the New York Daily News that O “will have the exclusive, first TV interview with Rielle.” The videographer-turned-baby mama will divulge all the details of her relationship with the former presidential candidate.
The spokesperson wouldn’t say much else about the show and no airdate has been officially announced at this time. But according to the National Enquirer, which broke news about John and Rielle’s tryst, the interview will be taped at Rielle’s home and it will air sometime next month.
Reporedly Barbara Walters and Diane Sawyer had been trying to book the sit-down as well. And a source told the Enquirer that John backs Rielle’s decision to do a sit-down with Oprah.
"John wants the world to see Rielle in a different light, not like the home wrecker she’s been portrayed [as]," they said.
