Brandy blames producer and friend Rodney Jerkins for the dismal performance of her last album.
Singersroom.com reports that the R&B singer has some harsh words about Rodney’s supposedly shoddy work in an upcoming episode of “Brandy and Ray J: A Family Business.”
When Ray J discusses his interest in working with Rodney on some material, Brandy says, “I don’t want the same thing that happened to me to happen to you.”
By that she means the poorly performing Human. And apparently she has a little more to say on his hand in the album’s failure, which led to her split with Epic Records.
There’s no word on whether Brandy and Rodney have patched things up since the episode was taped.
