We heard that “New York Undercover” might be making a comeback in the near future.
While walking the red carpet at the Steve Harvey Foundation Gala Malik Yoba said that there is a campaign to bring back the cop drama.
“I’ve got a meeting with Dick Wolf this week,” he revealed Monday. “I would produce and work on it, if it all works out.”
Courtney Parker, who writes for “Law & Order: Criminal Intent,” penned a pilot for the “New York Undercover” revival. The script is set 10 years after the original show ended, and it uses many of the same central characters.
“I read it. I got excited, so I started running my mouth about it,” Malik said. “Courtney Parker is the bomb for coming up with it.”
