Say it ain’t so! It was only a matter of time before one of our favorites was sent packing on “Dancing With the Stars.”

After eight weeks in the competition, Niecy Nash and her partner Louis van Amstel were voted off the dance competition, and we’re still reeling from all the elimination drama.

During Tuesday’s results show, we watched as Erin Andrews, Nicole Scherzinger and Evan Lysacek breezed through to the next round of competition. It’s an outcome we fully expected last night as each of the celebs has done an amazing job so far—particularly Nicole, who got a near perfect score Monday night.

Of course, this left Chad Ochocinco and Niecy in the bottom two. Even though we weren’t surprised to see both of them on the chopping block, it wasn’t easy to watch. Each of them brought a certain flair to the dance floor.

When taking an honest assessment of Chad and Niecy’s track record on “DWTS,” we knew that her chances of going home were much higher than his. The judges love her jiggle, but not as much as they like Chad.

Even knowing that, we were really pulling for the “Clean House” host, but she was still swept off the dance floor. Throughout the competition, Niecy made no bones about the fact that she expected to polish off the competition and win the mirrorball, all while representing for thick girls everywhere. She’s not mad that she didn’t last as long as she wanted to, though.

“I’ve had such a fantastic time being able to live out my dream,” Niecy said before taking a final twirl with Louis. “I’m a happy girl.”

Now it’s down to the final four in this primetime boogey battled, and there is one more round before the finals. See if Chad can step up his game and earn that perfect 10 from the judges he’s been chasing when “Dancing With the Stars” airs Monday night at 8 p.m. EST on ABC.
