Verizon Wireless is trying to get Jesus on the main line again so we can hear the gospel.
The mobile service provider is looking for the Best Choir in America with its third annual How Sweet the Sound competition. Choirs will face off in 14 different cities, including Houston, Chicago, New York, Atlanta, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C.
Each competition will be judged by Marvin Sapp and co-hosted by CeCe Winans.
At stake are bragging rights for a year and up to $50,000 in prizes. Registration for How Sweet the Sound is open until May 17. Interested choir reps can sign up at HowSweetTheSound.com or they can visit select Verizon Wireless stores for more information on how to register.
