Nas is officially back on the market now that his divorce from Kelis has been finalized.
Nas walked out of Los Angeles County Superior Court on Monday a single, poorer man. TMZ.com reports that once the judge declared the rapper’s union over, Nas immediately had to shell out $47,249.42 in back child support. He also gave his now-ex-wife $40,454 in unpaid spousal support.
According to court documents, Nas must pay Kelis $10,000 a month in spousal support to pay down the nearly $300,000 debt he owes her. Nas also has to cover 90 percent of her legal fees, which total just over $155,000.
With that much money, Kelis doesn’t need a man to put a ring on it; she can buy her own!
