Da Brat has been sprung from prison for work release, and she’s heading straight for the studio.
Jermaine Dupri brought out Brat for a very special guest appearance on his “Living the Life” video blog. The rapper, who had been locked up since 2008, told viewers that she’s now a semi-free woman.
“I’m out on a little pass,” Brat said before thanking fans for all their support while she was in lock-up. “I got a job. I work 9 [a.m.] to 5 [p.m.] because I’m in the work release program. I make windows, so if you need a window, holler at your girl.”
And as long as she’s out from behind bars, De Brat revealed that she’ll be getting back in the studio to work on new material.
“I’ma be making windows, music, movies, TV shows, anything I can get my hands on,” said Brat. “I’m fittin’ to come out and running…fast.”
Brat was sentenced to three years in a Georgia prison after striking a waitress in the face with a bottle of rum.
