Common has brought confusion over his relationship status to an end.
The rapper-actor, who stars in Just Wright, told Fox Chicago that he and Serena Williams are no longer together.
"I am single. I am a single man, definitely,” he said with a smile.
Common and Serena were a solid couple for about two years, and buzz that they had parted ways began earlier this month. The hearsay was quickly silenced as the former couples’ reps said the twosome were still in tact.
But don’t expect bitter stories of a bad breakup between Common and the tennis pro because he and Serena ended their romance on good terms.
“I still definitely have respect for tennis but I’m not married,” he said. “And everything is positive, everything is good. Did I give a good Barack political answer?”
