Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry are working to mend their relationship and keep their family together.
Sources close to the couple tell the National Enquirer that Halle and Gabriel have reunited in order to avoid a nasty custody battle over their two-year-old daughter Nahla.
The actress split from her male model beau last month after more than four years together. Now that they’re giving their romance a second chance, the couple has entered couple’s counseling.
“They’re putting their hearts and souls into working through their issues,” an insider.
Halle and Gabriel will have plenty of time to work things out this summer while she’s shooting Dark Tide in South Africa. Gabriel will be staying her and Nahla in a house the actress is renting. It was reported a couple weeks ago that she had agreed to pay Gabriel to care for Nahla while she was on set.
"At first it was a practical decision for Halle," a source said. "But things quickly heated up and got emotional."
It’s unclear now whether Halle will still be paying Gabriel to look after their little one.
