Jay-Z is in trouble for trying to be stingy while flying the friendly skies in high style.
TMZ.com reports that a private jet company called Air Platinum Holding is suing the Brooklyn rapper for unpaid fees. The business claims that Hov spent 55 hours on their planes in 2009, putting his tab at $250,000.
Court documents state, however, that Jay has only paid off 37 hours of flight time, and he still owes them a balance of $81,000. Keep in mind that the service came at a deep discount for Jigga, who only paid $4,500 per hour, as opposed to the usual rate of $6,000.
And Air Platinum claims that Hov neglected to pay a few other fees for his trips as well, including catering and taxes, on his numerous flights.
As of press time, Hov had yet to comment on the suit.
