Hill Harper has just let it slip that he’s got a role in Tyler Perry’s upcoming film.
The actor-activist told fans on Twitter today that he just wrapped shooting on For Colored Girls Who Have Considered Suicide When the Rainbow is Enuf. Apparently, he’s been filming his scenes at Tyler Perry Studios, on and off, since the beginning of June.
“Last shoot day on @tylerperry ‘s For Colored Girls,” Hill tweeted this morning. “Its been a fantastic experience working w/ Tyler & the amazing cast. It went 2 fast!!”
We already knew that Whoopi Goldberg, Phylicia Rashad and Loretta Devine were going to be in the project, but Hill revealed earlier this month that a few other ladies were in Atlanta as well.
“Amazing dinner convo last night w/ Oprah, Whoopi, Phylicia, Thandie, Anika NR, Gayle K, Loretta D. So many brilliant women! Learned so much,” he wrote on June 14.
According to IMDB.com, Anika will star in the film, but it’s not clear whether Oprah and Thandie will be making an appearance.
