As the world prepares to say goodbye to one the most influential and groundbreaking shows in daytime television, there are talks circulating about a potential TV film accompanying the end of the Oprah Winfrey show in September.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, producer Larry A. Thompson said on Monday that the potentially two – or four hour Winfrey film would be based on Kitty Kelley’s tell –all biography.
Thompson has produced TV biopics about Lucille Ball, Desi Arnaz, and Sonny and Cher. Thompson calls himself a “huge fan” of Winfrey and says that he is shopping the project to networks, he declined to specify, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
