Trey Songz is getting a little wild with Nicki Minaj in the twitchy video for “Bottoms Up.”
Trey debuted the video, directed by Anthony Mandler, on BET’s “106 & Park” on Tuesday. The video is a bit minimalist with super-simple sets, but Anthony jazzed it up with a green tinge and fast-forwarded action shots.
It’s a huge departure from the comparatively light-hearted video for Trey’s other liquor-fueled hit, “Say Aah.” In “Bottoms Up” Trey is yet again bragging about his ability to buy up the bar for any beauty he deems worthy. Don’t blink or you might miss the bottle of Ludacris’ Conjure Cognac that gets a little product placement in the video.
