Usher is talking about his failed marriage to Tameka Foster, and why he knew it wouldn’t last.
In a recent interview with People magazine, Usher talked about his marriage to Tameka. He admitted having no regrets about his brief union to the celebrity stylist.
"I appreciate the relationship for what it was," he says. "Even though it didn’t work out, I’m glad we got together. I love her as the mother of my children; we just couldn’t be married."
When Usher discussed what went wrong in the marriage, he revealed that shortly after the birth of their second child, Nayvid, the couple began to argue about everything from parenting style and his schedule.
"We’re two different people," he says, "and we have two different goals. It just was never going to work out 100 percent."
