BET is taking a look at life in New York City with its newest reality series “Harlem Heights.”
While the show will follow the lives 13 up-and-comers living in Harlem, there’s a specific focus on eight primary cast members.
You’ll be seeing a lot of Brooke who just so happens to be one of Kanye West’s ex-girlfriends. Now, she’s trying to create a name for herself on her own talent. Then there’s “pretty boy” Pierre who’s trying to overcome a troubled past and a fear of failure. He’s working hard so that he’ll be successful enough to support his mom.
The secondary cast consists of five more young professionals like Kelli C. She’s the hard-working 23-year old heiress to Global Hue Advertising (FYI, that’s a $500+ million corporation). Let’s not forget Aden the entrepreneur; he’s juggling five start-up businesses and a fiancé.
We caught a sneak peek of “Harlem Heights” at the BET Honors back in January. If we had to compare it to anything, the show would be like Baldwin Hills for grown folks. Either way, we’ll still be watching every week.
