Everyone’s doing it. Angela Simmons, Solange and Nicole Richie are all into it. We’re talking about headbands and they’re no longer just for the grade school set.
After spotting some of our favorite celebs (see the list above) rocking the preppy head pieces, we decided to look around for a few really cheap, celebrity-inspired headgear options.
Headband No. 1: The Prep
Much like Beyonce, this headband is pretty, girly and straightforward. Bey kicked it up a notch with a bright color, but this type is normally found in basics like black, white, red and blue.

These are only for the tree-hugging, vegetarian environmentalist Earth Mothers of the world. You know, the Nicole types. And FYI, they must be worn with really long Maxi dresses and lots of bangles…that’s the rule!

Self-explanatory. These headbands have feathers and remind us of birds, like the one worn by "This Bird" singer Solange Knowles.

Pretty, ultra-feminine but still sassy, flowered headbands are huge now, partially because of their appearance on "Daddy’s Girls," (sported by Angela Simmons).
