Bruno Mars is out, the crooner behind “Nothin’ on You” and “Billionaire,” after being arrested in Las Vegas this weekend.
Around 2:40 a.m. on Sunday, authorities arrested Bruno in the bathroom of a Hard Rock Hotel and Casino, alleging that he possessed narcotics. The artist, born Peter Gene Hernandez, had performed at Hard Rock earlier on Saturday night.
According to MTV News, it is not known what kind of drugs authorities believe Bruno had. MTV was not able reach the Las Vegas Police Department or Bruno’s record label for comment.
Although he’s known for various collaborations, the 23-year-old is enjoying success from his recently released song “Just the Way You Are.” He is scheduled to release his album, Doo-Wops & Hooligans, next month.
