After an unsuccessful bid to become the next president of Haiti, Wyclef Jean is going back to school. The artist will join Brown University as a visiting fellow.
BV Buzz reports that Wyclef has accepted a fellowship position at the Ivy League university in Rhode Island. The former member of The Fugees will focus on his work in Haiti through lectures, faculty conversations and classes.
He describes his upcoming experience at Brown, starting next semester, as “a period of learning and reflection.”
Looks like Wyclef is on the move. He also just released a new single, “Another Good Day," from his upcoming “How the West Was Won” album.
