The deadline for Disney’s youth development program, headed by Steve Harvey, is quickly approaching.

Teenagers between the ages of 13-19 have until October 31 to enter nominations for a chance to participate in this year’s Disney’s Dreamers Academy with Steve Harvey and Essence magazine. But it takes a special to make the cut for the Academy.

“Each year we strive to find young people who may have a will or passion, but may not have the courage to explore their dreams,” Steve said in a news release. “So we hope to unlock the power that will allow them to pursue their hearts’ desires.”

The annual program, which began in 2007, is a chance for young people to come together and catapult their dreams. One hundred selected teens will spend four days at the magical Walt Disney World Resort in March and take part in workshops, discussions and exhibits.

Celebrities, experts and motivational speakers will be on hand to share their success stories and answer questions in hopes of motivating the youth and getting them excited about the future.
