According to MTV News, she was charged on Friday with one misdemeanor count of possessing a controlled substance.
The couple’s current legal troubles stem from their September 1 arrest in Los Angeles. During a traffic stop, police searched T.I.’s car and found pills that resembled ecstasy. Tiny and T.I. were released the following day after posting a $10,000 bail.
Although her husband was sentenced to 11 months in prison for violating his probation, Tiny might be able to strike a deal for a lesser punishment. According to a rep for the Los Angeles District Attorney’s Office spokesperson, a judge could assign Tiny to outpatient rehab rather than time behind bars.
