“Chocolate News” has been chipped from the list of shows getting another season.
Comedy Central told us that the show, starring comedian David Alan Grier, isn’t being picked up for a second season. They said there is no specific reason why the show wasn’t coming back, just that the show had run its one-season course.
Fans watching Monday’s episode of “Dancing With the Stars” may have noticed the funnyman didn’t mention the show during his introductory video clip.
David is the second Black man to lose a news comedy show in a week. On Thursday, CNN announced that "D.L. Hughley Breaks the News" had been cancelled.
