Monica is thinking ahead to 2011, and it’s shaping up to be a very busy year for her.
With two top singles, a successful album and a new fiancé, 2010 has been a good year for Monica. The singer recently told Rap-Up.com that she’s looking to repeat that success in the new year with two albums.
The first studio project would be a rapid follow-up Still Standing, and she’s already got a production schedule planned out that kicks off in early 2011.
“I hope to at least have the title in January and a single in maybe March and an album in maybe July,” Monica told Rap-Up.It would have to be something pretty drastic to take me off my path. But if nothing changes, that’s the plan.”
After that, she’s hoping to get into the holiday spirit to record a Christmas album that real honors the reason for the season.
“I’m looking forward to something like that,” Monica explained, “something that’s kinda mixed with a little bit of Christian inspirational things with some of the older songs that we all know.”
