No. 8: Gayle King
She’s Oprah’s best friend, and like any BFF with her own network would do, Oprah has hooked Gayle King up.
That’s not to suggest that Gayle hasn’t worked hard to make her syndicated radio show a success, but now listeners will be able to see her as well as hear her, thanks to the OWN Network where “The Gayle King” show will air weekday mornings.
Gayle has won many media awards for her journalistic achievements, and with a new venue open for her fans, there’s likely more to come in 2011.
