Erykah Badu is joining forces with Prince on Super Bowl weekend for a concert in Dallas to benefit The Goss-Michael Foundation.
She will be performing her own set before the Paisley Prince takes his throne onstage.
The concert, referred to as theEvent, is an all-inclusive soiree offering music, art, food and more. There will also be a silent auction with all proceeds from the event going toward The Goss-Michael Foundation, which is founded by singer-songwriter George Michael and his partner Kenny Goss.
“As part of The Goss-Michael Foundation’s role in supporting and cultivating the arts within the community, we are committed to promoting a strong and focused educational program [that] is aimed at high school and university education, continuing education and also offers programs for educators and professional development,” reads the organization’s website.
A single ticket to the event is $1500 and includes admission, open bar and food stations. Tickets are on sale now. For more information and additional ticket prices, visit http://www.gossmichaelfoundation.org/blog/theevent-featuring-prince/.
