Naturi Naughton is getting fitted for a cottontail, bunny ears and a bow tie for her next TV role.
According to Deadline.com, the former 3LW singer has signed on to star in a pilot for NBC’s upcoming drama "Playboy." The show has a retro feel as it’s set in 1963 at Chicago’s Playboy Club.
Naturi, starring alongside Amber Heard, will play Brenda, a waitress at the club who aims to become the first Black Playboy centerfold. Hey, we’ve all go to have our goals, right? Amber will play Brenda’s roommate and BFF, Maureen, a new bunny with a checkered past.
Naturi also played a Black Playboy bunny on an episode of AMC’s critically acclaimed "Mad Men" last year. Coincidently, Alan Taylor, who directed the pilot for "Mad Men," is also directing "Playboy."
