Easter at the White House is going digital

Like always, the White House will be celebrating Easter with lots of American children on the South Lawn on Monday, April 13. But, this year, the ticketing process has gone digital.

Instead of having to fight for tickets on the White House Ellipse the weekend before the event, interested parents can go to whitehouse.gov/eastereggroll beginning Thursday, March 26. The Website will dole out tickets and information about the ticketing process.

The theme this year, "Let’s go play," hopes to bolster American children’s desire to be active and healthy. The egg roll is open to children 10 years old and under, plus their families, and offers sports, cooking classes, live music and storytelling in addition to the traditional Easter egg roll.

For more info, call the Visitors Office 24-hour hotline at (202) 456-7041, or visit the Easter egg roll’s website.
