Nicole Ari Parker
In 2008, husband-and-wife team Nicole Ari Parker and Boris Kodjoe founded the Sophie’s Voice Foundation.
The organization helps raise funds and awareness for those suffering from Spina Bifida, a birth defect that their daughter, Sophie, was born with.
According to the organization’s site, “Nicole and Boris were determined to help provide medical, physical and emotional support to Spina Bifida families everywhere.”
