Lil Wayne’s new music video for “6 Foot 7 Foot” has everything from Cory Gunz to candied apples, Inception-like scenes and a girl jumping out of a cake.
The video is the first from Lil Wayne’s Carter IV album and was supposed to premiere tonight on MTV … emphasis on “supposed to.”
Carter IV will be Weezy’s first project since his release from prison last November. While he was incarcerated he worked on his rhymes, but once he was released, those rhymes became lyrics.
“There was just a lot of material that I wrote in there and I came home and transformed it into something better. A lot of it, when I came home, I thought I would perform it the way I wrote it, but it wasn’t possible, so I took bits and pieces and rejuvenated it,” Wayne told MTV correspondent Sway Calloway.
