Is our favorite TV mom calling Jenny?! Apparently so, according to the diet company, which said Phylicia Rashad has been named its newest spokesperson, People.com reports.
“Jenny Craig confirms a new relationship with Phylicia Rashad,” a company spokesperson said, and that’s all they’re saying right now. No details are being released right now, but an official announcement will be made late January at a press conference.
Phylicia will be the latest actress to lose weight for Jenny (not that she needs to), joining the ranks of Kirstie Alley, Valerie Bertinelli and Queen Latifah.
Last week Phylicia was nominated for a Golden Globe for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Miniseries, for her turn as Lena Younger in A Raisin in the Sun. The film, adapted from the Lorraine Hansberry play by the same title, also received nomination for Best Mini-Series or Motion Picture Made for Television.
