Brian McKnight is coming out with a new CD, just in time for the holidays. I’ll Be Home for Christmas is his first studio album in two years, and it was definitely worth the wait.
Check out Brian and his sons (Brian Jr. and Nicolas) giving “Let It Snow” a jazz/rock twist on CBS’s “Early Show.” Sounds like the boys definitely inherited the pipes from their Pop.
Brian told the “Early Show” that he’s proud of his boys and even thinks they have surpassed him in talent. But it’s not sour grapes; he’s happy he’s getting to work with his boys on something they all love: music!
“As a parent you want to expose your children to as much as you possibly can. And whatever they gravitate toward, you want to support them,” Brian said. “In this case, they actually wanted to be like me; they wanted to have a career in this business.”
Well, performing with Brian on national TV isn’t a bad way to kick off a music career! Get ready to be seeing and hearing a lot more of Brian Jr. and Nic when they release their debut album this summer.
Hmmm, wonder if they’ll have any guest vocals from dear old Dad?
